Find A Person By Email Address

Spokeo services let you perform reverse email lookups.Other than regular web documents, Spoke also scans social networks and even the whois information of domain names to find any bit of information associated with an email address.
However, some of the results returned by Spokeo are only available to subscribers.
When it comes to locating people-related information, Spokeo’s powerful search and organization technology far surpasses that of conventional search engines. That is because Spokeo’s specialized web crawlers can penetrate lesser accessed, content-rich areas of the web, collectively known as the “deepnet” which many general-purpose search engines cannot. The "deepnet" is home to vast and largely untapped, dynamically-generated sites. And, since the majority of people-related public records are frequently stored on these types of sites rather than on web pages, Spokeo has a distinctive advantage over traditional search engines to which these rich stockpiles of data remain out of reach.

10 Ways To Increase Your Website's Alexa Rank.
by Softfete
In order to increase your Alexa ranking you must be proactive in your strategies and plan your steps carefully to succeed. With the right Alexa ranking you can demand higher prices from current advertisers and attract new advertisers just the same. If you want to increase your Alexa ranking, there are a few things you can do right now to get there.
1. Sign up for an Alexa traffic exchange program such as http://www.upmyrank.com , the large numbers of users can boost your alexa ranking dramatically.
2. Be sure to install the Alexa toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox. Additionally be sure to set your website as the default homepage for both browsers. Be sure to use each browser when you are online as each will have a different toolbar id and may be seen as 2 different users.
3. Put up the Alexa rank widget on your website. While the exact effects are unknown, it seems to help give the site a slight boost.
4. Encourage others to use the Alexa toolbar. This includes friends, fellow webmasters as well as site visitors. Be sure to link to Alexa’s full explanation of their toolbar and tracking system so your readers know what installing the toolbar or extension entails. Additionally you may want to ask your close relatives to install the toolbar and set your homepage as their main site.
5. Have co-workers or own a company? Get the Alexa toolbar and SS Firefox extension installed on all computers and set your website as the homepage for all browsers. Perhaps it will be useful to note that this may work only when dynamic or different IPs are used.
6. Write or host content about Alexa. Webmaster and bloggers love to hear about ways to increase their Alexa rank. They’ll link to you and send you targeted traffic (i.e. visitors with the toolbar already installed). This gradually has effects on your Alexa ranking.
7. Flaunt your URL in webmaster forums. Webmasters usually have the toolbar installed. You’ll get webmasters to visit your website and offer useful feedback. It’s also a good way to give back to the community if you have useful articles to share with others. Be careful not to spam boards as you could be banned from the forum or worse ahve your site terminated by your host.
8. Write content that is related to webmasters. This can fall in the category of domaining and SEO, two fields in which most webmasters will have the Alexa toolbar installed. Promote your content on social networking websites and webmaster forums. Feel free to place the article on your website!
9. Use Alexa redirects on your website URL. Try this: http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.upmyrank.com . Replace upmyrank.com with the URL for your website. Leave this redirected URL in blog comments as well as forum signatures. This redirect will count a unique IP address once a day so clicking it multiple times won’t help. There is no official proof that redirects positively benefit your Alexa Rank, so use with caution.
10. Create a webmaster tools section on your website. This is a magnet for webmasters who will often revisit your website to gain access to the tools. Aaron Wall’s webpage on SEOTools is a very good example.
Opera 11 alpha
Posted on Thursday, October 21, 2010
by Softfete
Opera issued a feature-incomplete alpha version of its desktop browser today. The two aspects introduced in 11.00 are the revised JavaScript engine and Extensions. More features will follow - sometimes these are introduced late in the release cycle.
Opera releases are always worth a look. It's the testing ground for new features - and a preview of what Mozilla's Firefox and Chrome will implement in about three years' time.
Extensions are browser add-ons made using Opera application programming interfaces (APIs) and web standards like HTML5 and JavaScript. Extensions allow users to make their web browser their own by adding features and functionality directly into the browser itself, rather than as standalone Opera Widgets or Opera Unite applications.
Developers can build extensions with the same web standards they already use to build websites and web applications. Better yet, with only a few tweaks to their code, developers who have already authored a similar extension for other browsers will be able to share their creation with more than 50 million Opera users.

Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 40 words per minute.
The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more.

The word “quick” was generated from tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. A key advantage to Swype is that there is no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry.

Google Car- car that drives itself
Posted on Monday, October 11, 2010
by Softfete
Google, in a posting on its official blog, said it has developed the technology and been busy testing a fully automated car that would take the controls out of the hands of distracted drivers, leaving them free to text, eat or apply makeup to their heart's content.
"Our goal is to help prevent traffic accidents, free up people's time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use," Google said on its blog.
The automated cars use video cameras, radar sensors and a laser range finder to "see" other traffic, as well as detailed maps to navigate the road ahead.
The futuristic autos have already been tested on the heavily trafficked California roadways -- including highways, bridges and busy city streets. They have even navigated San Franciso's famed Lombard Street, a tourist favorite known as the nation's most dramatically winding address.
All in all, our self-driving cars have logged over 140,000 miles, Google said.
As from Google Blog.
'According to the World Health Organization, more than 1.2 million lives are lost every year in road traffic accidents. We believe our technology has the potential to cut that number, perhaps by as much as half. We’re also confident that self-driving cars will transform car sharing, significantly reducing car usage, as well as help create the new “highway trains of tomorrow." These highway trains should cut energy consumption while also increasing the number of people that can be transported on our major roads. In terms of time efficiency, the U.S. Department of Transportation estimates that people spend on average 52 minutes each working day commuting. Imagine being able to spend that time more productively.'

Windows 7 Phone
Windows Phone 7 is a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft, and is the successor to their Windows Mobile platform. It is rumored to launch on either October 21 or November 8 of 2010. Microsoft's goal is to create a compelling user experience by redesigning the user interface, integrating the operating system with other services, and strictly controlling the hardware it runs on.
Microsoft officially unveiled Windows Phone 7 during Mobile World Congress 2010 (February 15) in Barcelona and revealed additional details at MIX 2010 (March 15). Windows Phone 7 was released to manufacturing on September 1, 2010, and the final SDK was made available on September 16.
Here's a look at the specs detailed to us thus far:
- At first, only large 800 x 480 (WVGA) touchscreens will be permitted, but 480 x 320 (HVGA) devices will make an appearance "later."
- Five specific hardware buttons are required: Start, back, search (which integrates with Bing services where appropriate), camera button, and power. Some devices might have more, but these are the baseline. Apps aren't generally allowed to override these buttons -- it's an offense that could result in being rejected from the Marketplace.
- Capacitive multitouch with support for a minimum of four contact points, though no more than two are used by any of the platform's six native gestures (developers are welcome to use as many as they like).
- A Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with DirectX 9 graphics support. Microsoft says the platform is flexible enough to expand to other chips in the future, but right now it's all Qualcomm.
- 256MB of RAM or more
- 8GB of internal Flash storage or more
- No support for microSD cards, though that's partially offset by the requirement for capacious internal storage. Some phones might implement the required internal storage on a microSD card, but it's not supposed to be user-swappable, and if you do switch it out, you'll reset the phone and lose all your data -- but you should be able to get most of it back when you sync with the cloud.

- AGPS
- Accelerometer
- FM radio
- 5 megapixel camera or better with flash
Google TV- Web On TV.
Posted on Tuesday, October 5, 2010
by Softfete
If there’s one entertainment device that people know and love, it’s the television. In fact, 4 billion people across the world watch TV and the average American spends five hours per day in front of one. Recently, however, an increasing amount of our entertainment experience is coming from our phones and computer
One reason is that these devices have something that the TV lacks: the web. With the web, finding and accessing interesting content is fast and often as easy as a search. But the web still lacks many of the great features and the high-quality viewing experience that the TV offers.
The Google TV system will also include an open-source platform that will enable developers to create widgets for the system. Upon launching the service, Google stated that it would be updating the Android operating system to facilitate the development of web applications specifically for Google TV.
Because Google TV is built on open platforms like Android and Google Chrome, these features are just a fraction of what Google TV can do. In our announcement today at Google I/O, we challenged web developers to start coming up with the next great web and Android apps designed specifically for the TV experience. Developers can start optimizing their websites for Google TV today. Soon after launch, we’ll release the Google TV SDK and web APIs for TV so that developers can build even richer applications and distribute them through Android Market. We've already started building strategic alliances with a number of companies — like Jinni.com and Rovi — at the leading edge of innovation in TV technology. Jinni.com is a next-generation TV application working to provide semantic search, personalized recommendation and social features for Google TV across all sources of premium content available to the user. Rovi is one of the world's leading guide applications. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the ways developers will use this new platform.

Cameroid-take snapshots online with Your Web cam
by Softfete
Cameroid is a quick way for people to take snapshots online with their Web cam. While many Web cams and even computers come with bundled Web cam software we found that most were pretty cumbersome. Mostly, people had a hard time storing their photos properly which made sharing and using them a pain. Since Flash 9 allowed us to do some nifty stuff with Web cams, bitmaps, and the likes we thought we'd build something that could allow anyone with a Webcam to take and store a snapshot in seconds.

Currently, people experience one thing from the applications that areinstalled on their computer and something different from the web. Using a browser is often associated with limited performance and interactivity. But, the web is about to take a significant step forward.
To start, you need a browser that is built around HTML5 and modern web standards. For HTML5 to reach its full promise you also need a browser architected to take advantage of the full computing power of your PC through Windows. And finally, you need to take the web out of the browser box, your favorites sites should be seamlessly integrated with Windows 7 and behave just like a native application. All these elements combined promise to unlock what's next on the web.
Apple Tv
by Softfete
The sleek new Apple TV has been completely retuned for your entertainment. It’s 80 percent smaller than the previous generation — even with a built-in power supply. Which makes it perfect for sitting neatly on a widescreen TV stand or squeezing into a crowded media cabinet. Not only does the new Apple TV have an amazingly small footprint, it’s also incredibly energy efficient. It stays cool without a fan, so it’s never noisy. And when it’s not filling your living room with drama, romance, and comedy, it uses less power than a night-light.
Everything you want to watch — movies, TV shows, photos, and more — streams wirelessly to Apple TV. That way you don’t have to worry about managing storage or syncing to your iTunes library. HD movie and TV show rentals play over the Internet to your widescreen TV, while music and photos stream from your computer. Either way, all you have to do is click and play. Since Apple TV features a powerful A4 chip, it streams everything effortlessly, without frozen screens or stutters. Video looks crisp and clear. And just like watching a DVD, you can fast-forward through opening credits, pause for a popcorn break, or replay a hilarious scene until you memorize every line.
